Amber is a busy mom-of-three and also enjoys serving in the children’s ministry at church, working with MOPS international, running and spending time outdoors with her family.

Biography

Amber Andrews attended the Medical College of Georgia where she graduated Summa Cum Laude and earned her B.S. in Nursing in 2008. She then graduated from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and earned her M.S. in Nursing in 2011. From 2008 to 2011, she was a bedside nurse in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Duke Children’s Hospital.

Since becoming a pediatric nurse practitioner, Amber has spent the first 8 years of her career working in pediatric neurosurgery in both the inpatient, surgical and outpatient settings. Amber holds a Georgia advanced practice nursing license and is certified by the Pediatric Nursing Certification Board. Her certifications also include: pediatric and adult basic life support, pediatric advanced life support and advanced cardiac life support.

A native of Savannah, Amber attended Savannah Christian Preparatory School. She and her husband Doug have three children: Callie, Jordan and Grant.
